Inauguration: Pete Seeger's 'This Land is Your Land'
In the most joyous moment of the concert, 89-year-old Pete Seeger took the stage to lead the crowd in a rousing rendition of 'This Land is Your Land.' Try not to smile when he yells "Freedom Highway!"

It has been such a long, long time since I heard freedom songs. The time has finally come when we can believe this land IS our land, led by a President who will walk that Freedom Highway with us. Did I ever believe I'd see Pete Seeger at an Inauguration? No, but I feel very blessed that the old of us lived long enough, and the young had a chance to hear the song sung by a long-time freedom fighter, a true American hero. Seeing that huge crowd sing filled my heart. I sang at the top of my creaky lungs. I hope that the whole world will sing with us.
