Rush Limbaugh on Jay Leno

A very svelte Rush Limbaugh showed off his new bod on Jay Leno. Warning: watching these two chat is pretty annoying.

that was pretty entertaining. It's kind of hillarious how the hysterical liberals in this country make Rush in to this big boogeyman. Time for the left to grow up.

Maybe Rush should grow up. Pretty childish to lay all of the blame for the sub-prime mortgage crisis on Dodd, Frank, and Clinton when the kinds of mortgages that were so problematic weren't even LEGAL until Reagan made them legal? Does it make complete sense to say that Social Security and Medicare are bankrupt when they are not? Does it make sense to believe that the market is some kind of magical, mystical, always-good force when we've clearly witnessed major market failures? It's not like we don't know why markets are good things. There are lots of mathematical reasons that markets are good things... IF all the conditions of free markets are met. When those conditions are not met, markets work less well, if at all. But I suppose that type of stuff is too complicated for most Rush listeners to think about. Rush went right out and said that if you believe in capitalism, you have to forget about needs. Two things about that: (1) People have needs, not just wants. (2) What does "believing in Capitalism" even mean?" If it means thinking that unregulated capitalism is always good for everyone involved, then unless you do not believe in mathematics, you shouldn't believe in it. Capitalism doesn't say anything about initial distributions of wealth, which, call me crazy, I believe to be rather important if you're talking about basic human dignity. Also, as for government programs that have "worked" pretty well in an awful lot of cases... the military, police, roads, sewers, public education (plenty of public schools are more than fine, thank you), disability insurance, etc., etc., etc. Lastly, Rush actually said that Bush kept us safe. Last time I checked, 9/11 happened while Bush was president.

Well of course "anonymous" above would refer to a Marxist about each according to his need. So does Jay Leno need over 200 cars in his collection? See the problem I have with most Liberals is they are such hypocrites.
Whats childish about the fact that Dodd & Frank in the Mortgage Oversight jobs failed and even perpetuated the problem? See Capitalism grows the pie, and Socialism only divides the pie, until there is no more money to steal from those who earn it.
