Richard Jenkins for Best Actor

Today on the Carpetbagger, David Carr tries to drum up some discussion on the Best Actor race. He fails to mention my pick for this year's Best Actor, Richard Jenkins from 'The Visitor.' If you haven't seen Jenkin's restrained and powerful performance in this film, you really should. Watch a scene below:

Being the President is Hilarious

Joe the War Correspondent

That's right, our old friend Joe Wurzelbacher will be traveling to Israel to report on Israel-Gaza war for conservative website pjtv.com. This exclusive article from ToledoOnTheMove.com is full of great quotes, but this one is my favorite:

"Being a Christian I'm pretty well protected by God I believe. That's not saying he's going to stop a mortar for me, but you gotta take the chance.”

Who's Staying in Blair House?

Looks like we finally have an answer on who is soooo important that they get to stay in the official White House guest house while the Obamas have to live in a hotel as their daughters start school. It's former Australian Prime Minister John Howard, part of Bush's infamous coalition of the willing in Iraq.

They couldn't have bumped this guy to a hotel and let the PRESIDENT-ELECT stay in Blair House? Here Howard is in a video from 2006 talking about his love affair with Bush. This might explain it...

Ann Coulter on the Today Show

"We traded you out for Tony Blair yesterday and I think that's a pretty good switch."

The Atheist Bus Sides

The atheist bus sides are back up on 800 buses in London spreading the message:

There’s probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.

Below, watch everyone's favorite atheist, Richard Dawkins, discuss the project.
