MTV's 'It's On With Alexa Chung': Social Media Overload

If you read the article in the NYTimes over the weekend about MTV's new TRL replacement "It's On With Alexa Chung," you may have curious like me about how much they would incorporate social media. The new show encourages viewers to tweet along with show and will also incorporate fan-made videos into the broadcast.


The main problem with this show is that you actually have to watch it on TV. If they want the internet generation to embrace this show, they are going to have to stream in on the website. Here's a clip of Alexa talking to Soulja Boy about Twitter.
