Top 5 Comedy Videos of the Week - June 28, 2010

The World Cup continued to dominate Americans' minds (and office time) this past week. While Saturday's tough loss to Ghana will no doubt make a lot of people lose interest in the rest of the tournament, we did get some choice comedic moments out of it over the last few weeks. While it's been hard to top John Oliver's Daily Show coverage, Funny or Die's Almost Twins came close with one of their elaborate "high-five" videos for the occasion.

Everyone knows that Republicans are only capable at being funny unintentionally, but this week Michael Steele and the GOP unveiled a parody attack video on President Obama and his "Chicago-style" politics that wasn't exactly hilarious but had it's moments.

Two videos of backstage shenanigans this week brought together disparate memes and references in ways that made them inevitable viral success stories. In the first, Das Racist's Victor Vazquez, who was for some reason hanging out backstage at The Colbert Report when Devo performed, decided that he would try to "Ice" the band. The second video, shot backstage at the Webby Awards, brings together OK Go and the Muppets (with a special appearance by Zach Galifianakis) for an epic staring contest.

Finally, Jimmy Kimmel and Drake collaborate on the Degrassi-inspired hip-hop music video for their new track "Tweet Tweet," borrowing lyrics from their favorite celebrity Twitter feeds.
