First up, Joshua Jackson's Pacey-Con brought all things Pacey Whitter to the fans stuck outside the convention center (complete with Paula Cole's "I Don't Want to Wait"). And next, Adult Swim's Tim and Eric set up Awesome-Con to announce their upcoming movie "Blues Brothers 2012" (produced by Terminix).
The Daily Show was back this week in all of its Jon Stewart's white-bearded glory. The funniest segment of the week was brought to us by Jason Jones, who found someone who has dedicated his life to fighting against gay Nazis. This was classic profile-of-a-crazy-person Daily Show with a topical "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" message.

When the newest installment of Zach Galifianakis' award-winning web series "Between Two Ferns" popped up on Funny or Die last week and I saw that he had chosen Steve Carell as his guest, I knew it was going to be great. Unlike Charlize Theron or even Bradley Cooper, Steve Carell had no problem jumping in between those two legendary ferns and giving Galifianakis a taste of his own medicine.
Finally, our old friend Kenny Powers was back this week in the first piece of original content since he left his girlfriend on the side of the highway and drove off to Mexico at the end of Eastbound and Down's first season. In this extended K-Swiss sneaker ad, I was very pleased to see Kenny (and his devoted personal assistant Stevie) acting just as obnoxiously as I remembered. The fact that it was brought to my attention by Kanye West makes all the more perfect.
