Conan O'Brien made the most noise this week by taking Tim Gunn's dare and strapping on some jeggings for his monologue. But the funniest thing Conan did all week was give not one but two special sneak previews of the new mega-budget Broadway musical Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark. I see a Tony Award in that guy who plays Wonder Woman's future.
President Obama didn't have that much to laugh about this week between his busted lip, WikiLeaks and DADT drama and an impromptu trip to Afghanistan. But one of his main speechwriters found the time to compete for (and win) the annual "Funniest Celebrity" contest in Washington, with this dead-on Arianna Huffington impression.
Two unexpected and unique TV commercials caught the attention of the internet this week. The first features Kevin Bacon as Kevin Bacon's biggest fan in what I'm hoping is the beginning of a series from Logitech/Google TV.
The second is what is apparently an ad for a popular Norwegian TV show, which doesn't even begin to explain why this many semi-celebrities decided to sing "Let It Be" in front of a green screen.
