According to this article in The New York Times, MTV's gearing up for a big return to scripted programming. They're giving the prime spot following this year's MTV Movie Awards to the new comedy The Hard Times of RJ Berger. The thing that initially got me excited about this show is that the creators also worked on the web series "Clark and Michael." But after the Vulture blog pointed out that its premise strongly resembles UCB's Little Donny sketches, I'm even more intrigued.
The fact that this man, who I watched do science experiments on TV as a child, is now the one explaining the complex tactic BP is using to solve possibly the biggest environmental disaster in history is both confusing and amazing.
