GOLDEN GLOBES: Ricky Gervais' Funniest Jokes
Ricky Gervais has been getting a lot of flack today for being too harsh with his jokes at the Golden Globes. I can't imagine what would have happened if he had opened the show as he had originally planned: dressed as Hitler. Here are the funniest moments from his (most likely) last time hosting the Golden Globes.
Highlights from Ricky Gervais' opening monologue include a take-down of the curiously-nominated The Tourist, some scandalous jokes about gay Scientologists and of course another solid Mel Gibson joke.
Ricky Gervais introduces the equally matched pair Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, who have a mean-spirited retort ready.
After declaring "Well done, justice there," in response to The Social Network winning Best Drama, Gervais thanks God for making him an atheist.
