Comedy Emmy Predictions 2012

When the Emmy nominations came out back in July, I posted my list of the top 12 snubs on The Huffington Post. Just for fun, here are my predictions for the six main comedy categories, including who I think will win and, more importantly, who should win.

COMEDY SERIES Will win: Modern Family | Should win: Girls

COMEDY ACTOR Will win: Jim Parsons, The Big Bang Theory | Should win: Louis CK, Louie

COMEDY ACTRESS Will win: Julia-Louis Dreyfus, Veep | Should win: Amy Poehler, Parks and Recreation

SUPPORTING COMEDY ACTOR Will win: Ty Burrell, Modern Family | Should win: Bill Hader, Saturday Night Live

SUPPORTING COMEDY ACTRESS Will win: Sofia Vergara, Modern Family | Should win: Kristen Wiig, Saturday Night Live

VARIETY SERIES Will win: The Daily Show | Should win: Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
