SNL: 'Silent Night' Cold Open

For the first time since the post-September 11th show in 2001, Saturday Night Live chose to forgo comedy for the cold open and instead aired a solemn version of "Silent Night" by the New York Children's Chorus to honor the victims of the Newtown, Connecticut shooting.
